He was the one who taught me (a crazy German) the meaning behind the term British sence of Humor whether as Mr Bean or in Black Adder. I never really apreciated that until I went to Ireland and it all came back as you really need to have a good sence of Humor if nothing is going to work out here as you do expect it.

Why the Bean movie? Sorry, but that was bloody dreadful and painful to watch. I despise how the studios Americanized such a wonderful show as Mr. Bean by adding horrid “plot” elements that were as subtle as the emptying of a chamber pot on unsuspecting passersby.
