Why I want to meet Jay Mohr
Maybe it was just because of the Richard Burgi storyline in Action, or the gay role in Go, but I would love to meet Jay Mohr because I can’t think of a single hetero celebrity whom I could imagine being cooler toward a gay fan. Well, Billy Campbell and Dan Futterman have obviously played gay more often, but that’s why I think they would be more aloof—their gay fan base is so much bigger. It’s like trying to get Madonna to notice you. You know you’re always one in a number to people like that.
I imagine that Jay is the kind of straight man a guy could go on a date with and really feel like it was a date. I think if I flirted, he would be unthreatened enough to flirt back. I know no higher compliment to pay a straight man about his sexuality!
I also think he has made thoughtful choices in his career without managing to be full of himself. I guess it goes without saying at this point that I think he’s sexy!
