I love that mini-interview she does on the American Cable Channel VH1 where describes how music is powerful and can create your own little world.
The clarity of her voice reminds me so much of Ella Fitgerald, but maybe I am just comparing her to one of the greats because I have a secret crush on her.
Her first album came out just as I was entering the divorce process – and like she said in that interview, her music became a little world for me.
