I heard her say something one day on her program that truly inspired me about friendship. She said she had a very limited amount of time to spend with friends and that each moment needed to count. So she went about eliminating all the people who were negative and draining as she didn’t need those kind of friendships. That is such a true statement…I think that we have all had those friends that never had a positive thing to say. Since then I have surrounded myself with positive successful people. It has made me a better person and a better friend.

I would love to meet Oprah without the camaras and the microphones! Just her friends and some of my friends…Just to giggle and carry on like school girls!!! :) I think that we’d take her roller skating! Only ever to be mentioned amongst ourselves ! Pinky shake.

I shook hands with Oprah at a Gorgeous You event here in KC. I also met Gayle and Nate Berkus. It was the best afternoon ever. Oprah was very graceous and her handshake was real….
