Why I want to meet Captain Kangaroo
Captain Kangaroo was instrumental in my life around the age of 3-5. I’d make weekly trips to the library with my brother in what would today be considered a completely unsafe bike cart (more like a basket trailer for a bike) and pick up the weekly Captain Kangaroo work book. I’d sit in front of the TV everyday watching Captain Kangaroo with my work book, doing the puzzles and activities in it, and being generally productive. Those were good times.
