I have never studied any art classes, only Studio Arts which i took in year 11 and 12. Ever since i was a little girl, i would draw pictures of pretty princesses and fantasy characters and give them to family members as gifts. As i got older, i started losing my passion for art, as i began to concerntrate on my singing. I performed at various venues, for Music class. As i reached 17, still singing my heart out, i took up photography in my spare time. I would use one of the schools cameras, and pay the teacher for use of materials and dark room equipment. I was in there alot for most of the remaining time i had left at school. I learnt how to develop my own film and photos and i tell you now, its so amazing watching a photo come to life as u move it around in the developer.
I never really drew or painted much around that time. But eventually, i started doing it again slowly, and now here i am! I just taught myself to draw what i see. And thats where my ‘talent’ comes from :)
