i saw them in august.
i was on the barrier right in front of him, and in the middle of ‘push’ he leaned down towards me and poked his tongue out at me, so i poked my tongue out back at him, and he smiled.
made me completely giddy.
best band. period.

I paid $250 for a VIP tix for Ultra Festival in Miami (3/23/07) since they anounced that it would entitle you to meet and greet “The Cure”. Big rip off, the Ultra fest. organizers lied, they only let around 15 “friends” of the organizers in. But my friend and I sneaked backstage. I could see Robert talking to these 15 people.. he was a few feet away from me. My friend and I waited for hours until he finally came out and right before he went inside the car, my friend jump to him and asked him if she could get a pix w/him. Robert gladly accepted and my friend now has a PIX W/Robert. I was on the other side of the car so when I went to approach him he was already in the car :( I just told him “Great show Robert”, he smiled, thanked me and shook my hand. He is the most down to earth person in the world. Now I really want to meet him and take the pix that I couldn’t. Hope I can do so one day. I love The Cure and Robert Smith. His music is really inspiring.

i saw the cure a couple of years ago at coachella. i totally cried. i did.

Robert Smith has created a revolution of what goth should sound like. Many try to capture this sound but few can come close to really getting that feel. When you hear a true goth band, you know it. You can feel the emotion that went into writing the lyrics and the music to go with it.

if there is such a thing as kinship amongst souls, where a word or the sound of a word or it’s hidden meaning strikes you in a way to move you to joy or to tears, if someone steals into another’s brain without ever having met each other and creates the most beautiful songs with the most beautiful voice these ears have ever heard- then this person is Robert Smith.
My favorite singer from my favorite band. Ever.

when i was 15, his music inspired me.

After I graduated high school, the correct thing to do is go to college. I had that all planned out. All I had to do was go to orientation. The night before orientation was the Cure concert, and I was not missing that. I looked at my dad and made a split decision: I am going to school around here and going to the concert. Fantastic decision!!!

Man he’s hot. And he’s got the best style. I’m lovin’ the hair Robert!

For years he was all I would fantasize about before I went to sleep.. a little crazy, yeah?

I saw The Cure in concert and they fricken OWN. Everyone should see them live. If not, you’ll die incomplete. End of story.
