Director of wonderful videos and the occasional wonderful movie (“Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”).
I’ve fallen in love with his two latest movies, “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind” and “The Science of Sleep.” In my opinion he is a uniquely imaginative director and also a technical genius when it comes to filming. Plus, his movies reveal a philosophy which agrees very much with my own.

Along with Let Forever Be, the Foo Fighters video for Everlong is brilliant.
Well, “met” might be pushing it a bit, but I was sitting in the front row at the Clapham Picturehouse for a special screening of Eternal Sunshine when both he and Charlie Kaufman came out at the end to talk about it, and I asked them an, in retrospect, silly question.
But I worship Gondry completely. How a mere mortal could have storyboarded the Let Forever Be video is beyond me.
