It was my Sophmore year in highschool, and I had just moved to Loris Highschool the last couple of months of school.. I was so tired because everyone wanted to talk to me because I was the new kid. Finally, the end of the day came and I was so excited to get home and talk to my best friend about my day. I was walking out to the bus lot when all of a sudden someone jumped in front of me and said “Hi! Your new? What’s your classes?” I didn’t get a good look at them at first and they took my schedule. Finally I was out of shock and saw him, walking beside, looking at my schedule. I was… amazed. I had never seen anyone so… good looking in my life, and they were interested in me! Finally, he said “Dang, I don’t think we have any classes together… but hey, if you have 2nd lunch tomorrow you should come eat with me.” Then, he walked away. I was so shocked and dazed at what happened… I went home and told my best friend all about it. All the rest of the day I couldn’t stop thinking about him… and he never told me his name. The next day came and I was sorta over everything that happened the day before. First class came, I was okay… but then, my second class was up. I didn’t know where it was so I had the guidance counselor take me. It was art, and I was excited because I love art. We walked up to the classroom, everyone was already in there… and I saw a lady from my church, she worked there! I was excited because then I wouldn’t have to be alone. Then, while standing in the doorway… I saw him. The boy who raided me in the hallway. He stood up and started waving like a crazy person, I couldn’t help but giggle a little. Finally, I got in the classroom. The teacher was showing what to do and then the boy walked up… he tried to talk to me but the teacher cut him off saying “Now James, go sit down, I won’t have you getting her into trouble.” His name! I knew his name now! I giggled once more, and he smiled at me. When the second bell rang for break, he walked me to the lunch room, along with another girl. While we were walking he never said anything… neither did he in the lunch room. We didn’t really talk to each other until lunch. For the longest time we would flirt… it went on for about a month. Then, after spring break, we finally got together. We have been together ever since. We have been together for almost 2 years. I love him more than I could ever love anyone. He is my true love. I would love to spend the rest of my life with him!
