Roger Federer (placeholder)

I like him a lot! I think he is the best of all!! I really hope I can meet him in real someday:)

because he is veritably one the greatest champions of this era. And to top that he is humble and graceful.
He truly is a phenomenon.

The guy is all quality – nice guy, excellent athlete, and an incredible attitude towards his fellow competitors. Awesome.

He’s an excellent player and nice man…I met him once and I think I would never forget it

At the US Open in 2002, I spent the day watching the side-court matches. There was a match that had no spectators at all that was going on, and I started to watch. For 45 minutes, I and the umpire, were the only people watching this match. It was Roger Federer.

The side court matches are very close and personal. You really see the expression and focus of each player. I couldn’t even tell if Federer was winning or losing, didn’t know who he was, but his way of hitting the ball was both sollid and fluid at the same time. He wasn’t quite as relaxed as he seems now, but you could see that there was something different about his style. He’s the first player since Borg that seems to have that wonderful combination of relaxed intensity.

I have to admit that I started liking him during Wimbledon 2006. I had just turned on the television to watch something and I saw that Wimbledon was on, so I flipped to that channel. It was a match with Roger Federer against Nicolas Mahut. I just watched for like 20 minutes admiring how great he was at tennis and hoped that he won Wimbledon, and guess what? He did!

He seems like he’d be very polite, as he seems quite shy on TV, nevermind the fact that he is totally hott! :P
